One attribute of the P365 is the size of the trigger guard, which accomodates a gloved hand better. For winter use that can be important compared to the traditionally dinky guard on a 1911 style gun.In my opinion, the P365 trigger is smooth enough. Any gains achieved by polishing will not likely show up on your target 7-15 yards away. Where and how consistently the bullet hits should be the goal, not the feel of the trigger. I tried the factory plastic one that came with my P365 380 once just for the experience but went to my Uplula after the first round.The following week I shot about 350 rounds of 115, 124 and 147 grain bullets and had a higher frequency of light primer strike and failure of the bullet to fire with the 124 grain NATO bullets compared to the 115 and 147 grain bullets. The safety was down, I reset the recoil spring etc., but the slide would get stuck with about 1/2 " to go. I did not want to use a hammer so it went back to Sig. Came back reassembled.The standard P365 will offer the best concealability and you can still use 12-round mags. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. It has the Sig Romeo X Compact red dot optic and the Foxtrot2R rail light. The optic was very easy to zero and I really like the added weight of the rail light. I still have the X-Ray 3's on my P320 X-Compact and really like them. Don't have any problems with brightness. This is a significant reduction, given the shape of the striker tip. The deepest part of the primer strike is off-center because of the beveled shape of the striker tip.Because the SIG P365 is a 9mm pistol that seems to defy the laws of physics by fitting 10+1 rounds into a package that fits in the front pocket of your khakis. Dec 10, 2023 · UNCLICKABLE Discussion starter. 1) On some P365 models the MS lever can be engaged when the gun is not charged, sometimes. On others, only when it's charged. 2) Sig made some changes to the FCU couple of years back and new models apparently only allow the MS lever to be engaged only when gun is charged. . I would however pay a bit more attention to replacing the RSA at the interval recomended by Sig, cleaning per factory recomendations, using a good-quality lube, and shooting with a firm grip. Since SIG uses a combat hold zero for the iron sights, you can't get a full co-witness with the 407K/507K/EPS Carry on the 365 with the stock iron sights. You can barely see the top of the irons with the 407k/507k and manage a center hold zero. Although I prefer a hammer-fired pistol, I have an appreciation for the striker-fired pistol. I find the P365 to be a smooth, clean breaking trigger with a nice reset. TThe Sig Sauer P229 has a double-action trigger press weight of about ten pounds. Once the hammer is cocked after the first shot, the single-action weight is about 4.5 pounds. Your Ruger is right at 6 lbs..
